Diversity in Technology Award

The Diversity in Technology Award will recognize a leader of color who has contributed to the technological advancement in digital innovation, customer experience, connectedness, digital infrastructure, operations, and intelligence in the media, entertainment, and technology industries. Nominees should embody the NAMIC mission and have actively worked to advance multi-ethnic diversity in the industry by educating, advocating, and empowering people and organizations.

Entry Criteria:

• Must be a current member of both NAMIC and SCTE

• High-level executive of color with demonstrated ability to lead with courageous decision-making to meet vital organizational objectives in the areas of technology in the media and entertainment industry

• Include the nominee’s resume/bio and key accomplishments per the application criteria

• Must submit high resolution (300 dpi) professional headshot

To Enter:

In 500 words or less, please tell us about your nominee.

• Describe why the nominee is a technology leader in the industry and the specific changes s/he has produced in the company or industry at large with technology.
• The nominee must only submit initiatives or programs that have been rolled out for at least six months with clear, measurable outcomes and impact.
• The nominee must demonstrate how s/he has contributed to promoting multi-ethnic diversity in their company or the industry.
